Jensen Loudspeakers ceased production of their products in the late 1960s. The speakers remained heavily sought-after as replacements for amplifiers originally manufactured with Jensen speakers. Following that demand, SICA Altoparlanti began reproducing reissues of the Jensen speakers in 1996.

Sounds very good in both. I currently own all of the Jensen Alnico Speakers (P12R in a Vox AC15, P12Q in an extension cabinet and a P12N in a Fender Blues Deluxe) and they all are quality speakers. These speakers sound a lot better than your average ceramic by far. Detailed sound response.
