Figure skating blades arent like knives. The blades also have two edges with a grooved, concave center. This means that the female skaters weight is distributed over a slightly larger area than if the blades had a single, super-thin edge, like knives do.
While they could technically perform it (and many are able to), its regarded as far too dangerous for Olympic competition, and will receive no points and possible deductions if it shows up in a routine. And nope, synchronized backflips by pairs skaters arent permitted, either.

One hand - picking up one hand off the ice, usually right for a right-handed person. No hands - neither hand is touching the ice, more difficult to get upper body low to the ice.
Why are ice skates so sharp?
Sharpening skates will pull that edge back from being flat. Only those edges are actually being sharpened. The sharpening makes these edges very thin and free from what we call “nicks” or “burrs.” No amount of passes over the skate sharpener will make the skates more sharp, only cut through more steel.
