Question: Do foreigners marry Indonesians?

In Indonesia, people of different religions are not allowed to marry each other. If a foreigner in Indonesia wants to marry an Indonesian national, this foreign partner is expected to accept the religion of the Indonesian marriage partner. The documents required for an Islamic marriage are not always the same.

Under current laws, girls are allowed to marry at 16 and boys to marry at 19, while parents can also ask religious courts or local officials to authorize marriages of younger girls – with no minimum age in such cases.

Can two tourists get married in US?

The short answer is: yes, you can get married in the US while on a B-1/B-2 tourist visa or on a visa waiver program. There is nothing in the regulations that say individuals who are in the US as visitors cannot get married.

Can you become a citizen after being deported?

Coming back to the U.S. after having been deported is a difficult proposition, and a complicated process, but its not impossible. A foreign national who has been deported from the U.S. will find it tough to get another visa or green card allowing reentry. But its not necessarily impossible.
