Question: Is Coalport China still in business?

In 1967, Coalport became a member of the Wedgwood Group, and today the brand continues to produce the high-quality pieces it has become known for in the more than 200 years since its inception.

When was Coalport established?

1795 Coalport porcelain, ware from the porcelain factory in Shropshire, England, founded by John Rose in 1795. “Coalbrookdale Porcelain” was used sometimes as a trade description and a mark because the factory was located at Coalbrookdale.

Can you sell damaged Lladro?

The extremely large Lladro can resell for $2,000 to $25,000. This of course applies to a very select group of Lladro. The value will be affected by the the condition of the piece. While a damaged piece is no longer considered mint, it will still hold value.
