Pfaltzgraff dishes are not made at the Pennsylvania factory anymore. They are now made in China and the quality and craftsmanship of the venerable York, PA factory did not transfer to the Chinese factory.

Pfaltzgraff is also no longer made in the US. This is something to consider with all of the issues that have recently come up regarding imports from China. If you are looking for an alternative I recommend Fiestaware dishes.
