Click on the person you want to start a conversation with and a new screen will open up as the messaging screen. Then say Hi!!! But also try to say more than “Hi” because people respond much more frequently when you say something clever or chat about their interests in the opening message. Good luck!

I would recommend starting out with a simple greeting telling the person hello, ask them how they are, and/or tell them your name. You may also want to say something that you found interesting about their profile. For example: “Hi there, my name is Tori and I see that we have the same taste in music!”

Yes, you do have to Like someone to send them a message. We want conversations to be only between people who are interested in each other, so you have to Like someone before messaging them. If youd prefer to tell someone in a message that youre not interested, thats fine!
