A match will expire after 18 days of no communication. However, if a match or a conversation disappears before the expiration date that means the user has either deleted your profile or deleted their account from the app. If you accidentally delete one of your chats or matches, it is not possible to restore it.

Is there a message limit on match?

Match.com IM users can initiate messages with no more than 30 different Match.com IM users per day, but may send an unlimited number of messages to those 30 users. Additionally, they may receive an unlimited number of messages from an unlimited number of users each day.

Can you chat to people on Match without subscribing?

You usually need a subscription to read or send messages. Without one, you can still communicate freely with singles who have chosen the Connect upgrade. But remember – a subscription unlocks the full Match experience and makes it easier for you to find someone special.

Can I delete a message I sent on match?

Just click on the three dots at the top of the conversation and choose Delete this conversation and thats it - gone! If you want to delete several conversations at once just click the bin icon at the top of My conversations and delete away.

Can I find someone I unmatched on match?

If you accidentally unmatch someone then both of you disappear from each otherss match list. Unfortunately, unmatching is an irreversible action. You cannot undo it. You also cannot see the other persons profile anymore.
